Job Summary:
We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our vessels in the marine industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all technical aspects of the fleet are efficiently managed to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Job Responsibility:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of all vessels in the fleet.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure vessels are in optimal condition.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage budgets for technical operations and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and materials.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the crew and staff onboard.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the marine industry.
- In-depth knowledge of marine engineering, technical operations, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certification in relevant technical areas is a plus.
